In early 1998, we installed the first digital x-ray imaging system in the practice, ( the 1st in Donegal ! )
The concept was simple - to provide x-ray imaging for our patients with a convenient, progressive system at a fraction of the x-ray dose to the patient. The original Sirona system at that time was the best and most up to date technology available. Dental digital imaging technology has advanced rapidly over the following decades.
20 years on... we are proud that our practice has evolved to provide the full range of Sirona digital imaging services.
We now provide Digital Photography, Intraoral Imaging, Panoral Imaging and, since 2016, full or sectional Cone Beam 3D CT Imaging for advanced implant and surgical planning for our patients.
We are happy to provide Digital Scanning for our own patients and referral patients. We are also happy to provide scan copies on disk for any referring practice with Sirona Sidexis 4 viewer software.
This allows the scan to be viewed on any pc or windows laptop.
